You can secure your place on any of the courses by either paying for the course in full or by paying the deposit (please note that if you pay the deposit you must pay the outstanding amount before the early bird, otherwise you may have to pay the full amount).

Currently most of our courses are located at the London School of Osteopathy, which is only 5-10 minute walk from Tower Bridge with easy access to local transport and services. We also host courses at other locations. Please checkout our courses and see if there is one near you, if there isn’t please contact us about organisning a course near you.

Dry Needling/Medical Acupuncture for Manual Therapists
Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th October 2021
@ London School of Osteopathy, Grange Road, London
The aim of the course is to make you feel trained, competent and confident to use dry needling/medical acupuncture the next day you are in clinic.
Course will cover the –
- Rationale and history of using dry needling
- Clinical implications
- Contra-indications and considerations
- Identify and locating myofasical trigger points
- The best conditions and symptoms to use dry needling
- How to combine dry needling into your treatments to develop a comprehensive approach and awareness when to use
Practical application for the following muscles/areas;
- Sub occipitals
- Trapezius and Levator Scapulae
- Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus, Subscapularis, Teres Minor, Deltoids
- Thoracic and Lumbar Erector Spinae
- Sacro-iliac joint
- Gluteus maximus, medius, minimus, Piriformis
- Triceps, Biceps, Forearm extensors and Flexors
- Quadriceps, Hamstrings, gastrocnemius and Soleus, Achilles tendon
The course will be a combination of lecturing and demonstrations, but will also be very practical based to help you develop a sound knowledge base and practical skills to use in your clinic.
Free set of acupuncture needles will be given at the end of the course for you to use the following day in practice.
